With 95% of patients experiencing clinical improvement within four months, we're addressing one of healthcare's most underserved areas while creating a financially sustainable model for our provider partners.</p> <p>Following our recent $8M Series A funding, we're expanding nationwide and seeking exceptional talent to join our mission-driven team.</p> <p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a clinically excellent and mission-driven Senior Clinical Therapist to serve as the primary clinical resource and advocate for FamilyWell's therapy consultant team. This role is predominantly clinical in nature (~80%), focused on delivering high-quality direct patient care across both perinatal and perimenopausal populations. The remaining ~20% is dedicated to providing clinical guidance and peer support to therapy consultants, and contributing clinical expertise to key organizational decisions and projects. </p> <p>This is the right role for a seasoned clinician who thrives in a patient-facing environment, is energized by supporting peers, and wants to contribute meaningfully to shaping clinical practice at a growing women's health start-up.</p> <p><strong>Duties & Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><strong>Patient Care & Support</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide individual tele-therapy to perinatal and perimenopausal patients using FamilyWell's virtual platform, carrying a full clinical caseload as the primary focus of this role.</li> <li>Conduct one-on-one psychological intakes for referred FamilyWell program patients, gathering comprehensive assessments to inform treatment planning.</li> <li>Document patient progress comprehensively, sharing treatment recommendations with medical providers, psychiatric consultants, and other treating professionals as needed.</li> <li>Facilitate treatment plan modifications for patients needing more intensive or specialized mental health care, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.</li> <li>Develop and deliver Care Plans post-session, offering patients actionable insights and follow-up steps.</li> <li>Apply evidence-based clinical approaches specific to perinatal mental health (PPD, PPA, birth trauma) and perimenopausal conditions (mood dysregulation, anxiety, depression, sleep disturbances, and identity and life transition).</li> <li>Create and complete relapse prevention self-management plans for patients nearing discharge, ensuring a structured approach to maintaining mental health gains.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Clinical Support & Team Advocacy</strong></p> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary clinical resource and first point of contact for therapy consultants with clinical questions, complex cases, or ethical dilemmas.</li> <li>Advocate for the therapy consultant team — surface their needs, concerns, and clinical feedback to leadership and ensure their voices are represented.</li> <li>Provide informal clinical guidance, peer consultation, and real-time support to therapists navigating difficult patient situations.</li> <li>Facilitate peer-to-peer reflection and case consultation to promote shared learning and clinical quality across the team.</li> <li>Escalate concerns around well-being, help identify early signs of burnout or compassion fatigue and support FamilyWell’s Provider Experience efforts.  </li> </ul> <p><strong>Clinical Decision-Making & Projects</strong></p> <ul> <li>Contribute clinical expertise to key organizational decisions, including care model design, clinical protocols, and patient experience improvements.</li> <li>Provide clinical input on projects that require therapy-specific knowledge, such as new program development, clinical quality initiatives, and OB/GYN partnership integration.</li> <li>Collaborate with clinical and operational leadership on policies and practices that affect the therapy team and patient care standards.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p><strong>Licensure</strong></p> <ul> <li>Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or equivalent (LMFT, LPC, Psychologist), holding an active license in the state of Massachusetts.
