Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at the Courtyard at Kennedy in Titusville, Florida. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of service are provided to our guests.

What will you do?

  • Stocking all three food and beverage outlets on property and maintaining neat and organized storerooms, completing inventory, assist with promotions and events on site.
  • Assist managers in training and development of the team and conducting associate counseling sessions including verbal and written corrective action reports.
  • Assist managers in the management of staffing levels in accordance with established budgetary goals and business volume.
  • Inspect by walking through your assigned area to monitor staff and to monitor guest needs while staying in compliance with local health standards. 
  • Lead hourly staff in the daily performance of their duties and collaborate with manager concerning operational deficiencies and areas in need of attention.
  • Greet guests positively, treating each person as an individual and in a professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all departmental and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Assist with management of programming for the Space Bar and other events in the hotel.
  • Oversee catering events and assisting clients with their requests. 

More about you

  • Must be at least 21 years old to apply. 
  • Two-three years of Food and Beverage experience required.
  • Experience with catering preferred. 
  • Experience in a Leadership Role required. 
  • Experience in a bar/nightclub setting preferred.
  • Superior organization and guest service skills required.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and percentages.
  • Basic computer skills including word-processing, spreadsheets, and email required.
  • Demonstrate skill in dealing with guest complaints, using active listening skills to defuse difficult and sometimes emotionally charged situations to maintain the guest’s goodwill required. 
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be available to work all shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Physical requirements

  • Ability to lift or carry 50 pounds independently. 
  • Ability to stand or walk 100% of the time.                        
  • Able to work in various outside year round Florida temperatures.
