Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Work From Home Video Editor to support a growing network of Nigerian YouTubers. As a remote video editor, you will be responsible for transforming raw video footage into polished, engaging content that captivates audiences and enhances each creators unique style. Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and assemble recorded raw footage into a compelling final product for YouTube.

  • Trim, color correct, enhance audio, add transitions, effects, and captions to create professional-grade videos.

  • Collaborate with YouTubers to understand their branding, voice, and target audience.

  • Manage video timelines and ensure all content is delivered within deadlines.

  • Source and incorporate royalty-free music, sound effects, and stock footage when needed.

  • Optimize video formats for YouTube (thumbnails, intros/outros, metadata recommendations).

  • Suggest improvements to video structure, flow, and overall aesthetic.

  • Maintain organized archives of projects and media assets.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.

  • Strong understanding of YouTube content creation trends and audience preferences.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting tight deadlines.

  • Excellent storytelling skills with an eye for pacing, rhythm, and engagement.

  • Knowledge of video formats, aspect ratios, and compression for optimal online quality.

  • Good internet connectivity for remote collaboration and file transfers.

  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.

Experience
