Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Freelance Data Analyst to work remotely on exciting freelance projects. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong analytical background who can independently gather, interpret, and visualize data to drive actionable insights. You will be instrumental in supporting client decision-making through compelling data storytelling, trend analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and interpret large datasets from internal and external sources.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance metrics.

  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.

  • Use statistical tools and data visualization software to identify trends and patterns.

  • Collaborate remotely with business stakeholders to define analysis objectives.

  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reports and tools.

  • Deliver timely data-driven insights to improve operations, marketing, finance, or customer experience strategies.

  • Work with Excel, SQL, Google Sheets, Power BI or Tableau to prepare and share reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Proven experience in analyzing datasets and presenting insights to non-technical teams.

  • Strong command over Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas).

  • Working knowledge of SQL and/or Python/R for data analysis.

  • Proficiency in at least one data visualization tool (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Experience

  • Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in a data analysis or reporting role.

  • Freelance or remote experience will be considered an advantage.

  • Fresh graduates with strong analytical portfolios may also be considered.

Working Hours

  • Flexible schedule — work from any time zone.
