Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Virtual Travel Consultant – Nigerian Destinations to assist clients in planning unforgettable travel experiences within Nigeria. This remote role requires a well-organized individual with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of local attractions, cultural hotspots, transport logistics, and accommodation options across Nigerian regions. You will be the go-to expert for domestic travel planning and virtual support, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Offer customized travel consultation services for Nigerian destinations via phone, email, and live chat.

  • Research and recommend travel itineraries, destinations, accommodations, and local experiences.

  • Provide up-to-date information on travel regulations, safety, pricing, and promotional deals.

  • Coordinate bookings for flights, hotels, transportation, and guided tours.

  • Handle travel changes, cancellations, or emergencies with professionalism and efficiency.

  • Maintain detailed client records, preferences, and feedback.

  • Stay informed on new tourism trends and developments across Nigeria.

  • Promote travel packages, deals, and partner services to meet monthly targets.

  • Collaborate with local vendors and tourism providers to secure the best rates and services.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven customer service or travel consultancy experience (virtual or physical).

  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian geography, culture, tourist attractions, and travel trends.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Confident in using travel platforms, CRM systems, email, and chat tools.

  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple bookings and client queries simultaneously.

Experience

  • Minimum of 1–2 years in a travel agency, tourism, customer service, or related role.

  • Experience working remotely or in virtual service environments is highly desirable.

Working Hours

  • Flexible remote schedule, Monday to Saturday.

  • Core working hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM WAT, with occasional evening or weekend availability during peak seasons.
