Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Virtual Shopify Store Assistant to help manage and optimize our online store. The ideal candidate will support the daily operations of our Shopify-based eCommerce business, including product management, inventory updates, order processing, and customer communication. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update Shopify product listings, including images, descriptions, and pricing.

  • Process customer orders, track shipments, and coordinate with fulfillment teams.

  • Respond to customer inquiries via email or chat in a timely and professional manner.

  • Monitor stock levels and update inventory as needed.

  • Assist with promotional campaigns and ensure banners, discounts, and featured products are accurately displayed.

  • Coordinate with the marketing team for SEO improvements and product visibility.

  • Troubleshoot minor technical issues on the Shopify platform.

  • Analyze store performance data and prepare weekly reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in using the Shopify platform (product uploads, order processing, etc.).

  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.

  • Competency with tools like Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and basic image editing.

  • Knowledge of basic eCommerce principles and customer service practices.

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience managing or assisting with Shopify or another eCommerce platform.

  • Prior remote work experience is a plus.

  • Freshers with strong knowledge of Shopify and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours

  • Flexible remote working hours.

  • Minimum commitment of 20 hours per week.

  • Option to work full-time based on performance and availability.

  • Weekend availability is a plus but not mandatory.

  • Familiarity with eCommerce KPIs (conversion rates, cart abandonment, etc.).
