Video Editor — Roblox Content (Remote, Part-Time)

Company: Tycer Media Location: Remote (UK, EU or US only) Schedule: Flexible — 48 to 72 hour turnaround per edit, on your own schedule Start Date: Immediate Pay: Per edit (fixed rate) Hours: Approx. 14 - 21 hours per week (2-3 videos) About Us We're the production team behind Friend, a Minecraft roleplay channel with over 1.7 million subscribers and 250M+ long-form views in the past year. We're now expanding into Roblox content with a new channel, and we're building the editing team to support it. The Role We're looking for a Video Editor to take ownership of our Roblox video edits from raw footage through to finished product. You'll be working with 40–60 minutes of gameplay footage per video and editing it down into a fast-paced, entertaining final cut, complete with VFX, SFX, music, and PNG Tuber-style character overlays. This is a creative editing role. We're not looking for someone to do a basic trim, we need an editor who can bring energy, comedic timing, and visual flair to every video. If you've edited content in the style of creators like PolarCub, you'll understand the bar we're aiming for. We're currently producing 2 Roblox videos per week, with each edit estimated at around 7 hours. We plan to increase upload frequency, so there's room to grow your hours as the channel scales. Responsibilities Edit 40–60 minutes of raw Roblox gameplay into polished, entertaining videos Add VFX, SFX, and music to enhance pacing and engagement Create and integrate PNG Tuber-style character overlays Manage your own schedule to deliver within the 48–72 hour turnaround window Collaborate with the production team on creative direction and feedback Maintain organised project files and follow established naming conventions Requirements Strong creative editing skills with a portfolio that demonstrates energy, pacing, and comedic timing Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (or equivalent NLE) Experience with motion graphics, VFX, and SFX integration Familiarity with PNG Tuber or character overlay workflows Reliable internet connection and a machine capable of editing 1080p+ footage Self-motivated — this role runs on your schedule, so you need to manage your own time and hit deadlines without supervision Nice to Have Experience editing Roblox or gaming YouTube content Understanding of YouTube audience retention and pacing for younger audiences Familiarity with After Effects or similar motion graphics tools Experience working in a remote production team Knowledge of audio cleanup or normalisation Trial Period All new hires begin with a paid trial period so we can assess fit on both sides before committing to an ongoing arrangement.
