We are seeking a highly analytical, strategic, and innovative Sr NOP Post Operations Analytics Consultant to join our dynamic team. Position Summary The Sr NOP Post Operations Analytics Consultant will serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, providing advanced analytical and business consulting support to internal stakeholders. This role focuses on Post-Operations Analytics within our Network Operations Control (NOC), gathering insights, telling a cohesive story around operational disruptions, and delivering analysis that drives informed decision-making at the highest levels of the organization. As a senior member of our NOP team, you will collaborate closely with leaders, cross-functional partners, and junior analysts to refine decision-making processes, lead complex analytical investigations, and mentor emerging talent. This position is based out of our Corporate Campus in Dallas, TX, and follows a hybrid work model, requiring on-site presence at least three days per week. Key Responsibilities Analytical Leadership & Strategy Provide advanced-level analytical and business consulting support to internal customers and stakeholders across multiple departments. Lead complex investigations and initiatives of significant scope and impact, developing observations and creating sophisticated data models to inform decision-making. Coordinate efforts between various leaders and departments, providing guidance and support throughout project execution. Facilitate Post Operations Analytics meetings, ensuring all materials are crafted to tell a compelling story that explains the analysis and supports recommendations. Collaborate with the Post Operations Analytics Leader to align on analytical requests, expectations, and priorities, ensuring investigations are aligned with holistic team and project goals. Operational Analysis & Insights Offer analytical expertise to customers and partners intra- and inter-departmentally, quickly understanding relevant contexts and providing pathways to resolution. Perform descriptive and diagnostic analyses of operational events on an ad hoc basis while simultaneously managing long-term projects. Act as a business strategy and project guide for investigations occurring retroactively, responsible for framing analysis, recommendations, and delivery. Collaborate with Daily Ops Analyst partners to gather qualitative narratives, providing additional context for decision-making and quantitative analysis. Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation by analyzing market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry best practices. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication Work with Post Operations Analytics key discussions with leaders and project stakeholders. Ensure timely development of Post Operations Analytics reports and plans, driving conversations at Post Operations Analytics meetings. Collaborate with various operations teams and stakeholders to develop holistic project timelines, ensuring execution of next steps and action items arising from Post Operations Analytics meetings. Partner with Post Operations colleagues to track and report metrics of success. Build strong relationships with Network Operations Control, neighboring Operations teams, and support departments to ensure consistent sharing of insights and lessons learned. Act as a thought leader and serve as a trusted advisor to the Director of Post Operations Analytics. Mentorship & Team Development Collaborate with Post Operations Analytics Partner Consultants to provide operational expertise, technical guidance, and ensure analyses are focused on broader team goals. Mentor and coach junior team members in their professional development, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. Contribute to the classification and reporting of Post Operations team success stories, collaborating with the Analytics Manager and Communications teams to ensure broad distribution across the enterprise. Essential Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong knowledge of financial and strategic analysis with demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills. Understanding of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, product planning, prioritization, and coordination of personnel and resources. Knowledge of flight operations terminology, metrics, and concepts. Familiarity with analytical technology systems and related theory, practices, and concepts. Proficient in data analysis and data visualization using tools such as Think-Cell, Excel, Tableau, and similar platforms. Skilled in orchestrating complex data and presenting findings in well-crafted PowerPoint presentations to stakeholders. Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, Alteryx (or other data manipulation tools), and Tableau (or other data visualization software). Ability to quickly identify paths forward when tackling complex analytical problems, including data cleansing and preparation. Demonstrated ability to think like an owner, showing a high level of commitment and providing direction in a team-oriented, cross-functional environment. Self-starter with the ability to work independently with limited and divergent information. Creating clear, well-written PowerPoint presentations that incorporate methodology, insights, and recommendations with minimal oversight. Providing strategic guidance and thought leadership to senior executives. Coaching junior employees in their professional development. Running and/or managing complex analyses using SQL, Alteryx, and/or Tableau. Developing strategies, frameworks, and identifying critical decision points, presenting them to executive management. Preferred Qualifications Advanced experience with SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, and PowerPoint. Previous experience in the airline, transportation, or operations-heavy industry. Familiarity with Network Operations Control (NOC) environments. Physical & Other Requirements Ability to perform work duties from a limited space workstation/desk/office environment for extended periods. Ability to communicate and interact with others in English to fulfill job requirements. Proficiency in using a computer and other office productivity tools with adequate speed and accuracy.
