The role plays a part in shaping pharmacy provider rate strategy, improving underwriting accuracy, and strengthening overall network economics.</p><p></p><p>Leveraging tools such as SAS, Tableau, and Excel, you will build and maintain COGS models to evaluate network improvement opportunities, assess financial tradeoffs, and inform strategic decision making. You will partner with the Network Contract team to deliver actionable recommendations on pharmacy provider rates. You will drive operational improvements in the management of underwriting (UW) COGS assumptions.</p><p></p><p>Deep knowledge of PBM pricing and operations, along with the ability to interpret client and segment level financial statements, is essential. This role also requires strong project management discipline, while delivering high quality work.</p><p></p><p><b>What You Will Do</b></p><ul><li><p>Deliver high quality financial insights on network performance, utilization patterns, and market trends to identify opportunities for network enhancements, cost savings, and improved access to care.</p></li><li><p>Develop, enhance, and maintain COGS projection models to inform pharmacy provider rate strategy.</p></li><li><p>Translate complex data and financial analyses into clear, concise insights and visualizations for nontechnical stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Partner cross functionally with key stakeholders across the organization.</p></li><li><p>Manage complex analytical initiatives from concept <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">through delivery,</span> ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and impact.</p></li><li><p><span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">Ensure compliance</span> with regulatory, contractual, and ethical standards in all analytical outputs.</p></li><li><p>Continuously identify opportunities to improve analytical processes, tools, and methodologies.</p></li><li><p>Stay current on PBM, pharmacy network, and data analytics trends to inform strategy.</p></li><li><p>Provide mentorship and knowledge sharing to support team capability and development.</p></li></ul><div></div><div></div><p><b>Minimum Qualifications</b></p><ul><li><p>7+ years of experience in data analytics, financial analysis, or a related quantitative role.</p></li></ul><div></div><div></div><p><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></p><ul><li><p>2+ years of PBM experience.</p></li><li><p>Advanced proficiency in SAS (or comparable statistical software), Excel, and Tableau.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical problem solving and decision-making skills.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Experience translating complex financial or analytical concepts into actionable business insights.</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high quality work.</p></li></ul><div></div><div></div><p><b>Education</b></p><p>Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education</p></div><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Pay Range</b></p><p style="text-align:left">The typical pay range for this role is:</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>$82,940.00 - $182,549.00<p style="text-align:left !important"><br>This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program. <br> </p><p style="text-align:left !important">Our people fuel our future.
