Solution Architect Senior Director - Remote

About the position We are seeking a Client Solutions Architect - Senior Director who combines deep expertise in cloud data architecture with strong hands-on experience in Databricks and Snowflake. This role is ideal for a senior leader who can serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, guiding them through the design and delivery of modern, privacy-safe data ecosystems that power marketing, analytics, segmentation, and customer engagement. You'll collaborate with clients across industries to assess current data environments, define future-state architectures, and deliver scalable, cloud-native solutions that unify data engineering, identity resolution, and audience activation across Databricks, Snowflake, and major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, and Azure). Your work will bridge technology and strategy—helping clients modernize their data foundations, build referential and private ID graphs, and enable insights that drive measurable business outcomes. This role can be located almost anywhere in the U.S. Responsibilities • Partner with C-level and senior stakeholders to understand business goals, data challenges, and transformation priorities. • Act as a trusted advisor , translating high-level business needs into actionable data and technology strategies. • Drive adoption of modern architecture principles and evangelize solution value across both technical and non-technical audiences. • Architect and lead Databricks-based Lakehouse and streaming solutions leveraging Spark, Delta Lake, Kafka, and Airflow for analytics and data sharing. • Lead end-to-end solutioning, from assessment and roadmap creation to detailed technical design and cloud migration execution. • Design and operationalize identity resolution frameworks , guiding clients on referential graphs and building private first-party ID graphs using deterministic and probabilistic stitching, matching, and configurable business rules. • Develop persistent ID graphs that connect offline, digital, and partner-sourced identifiers to enable unified customer views and personalized engagement. • Collaborate with analytics and data science teams to support segmentation models , lookalike modeling , and audience creation pipelines that activate across marketing and CRM platforms. • Guide implementation of audience activation workflows —from model scoring and segmentation in Databricks/Snowflake to delivery into downstream adtech and martech systems. • Develop evaluation frameworks to measure identity graph performance, match accuracy, and activation coverage • Innovate reusable patterns, frameworks, and accelerators to support repeatable client success. • Lead presales solutioning, proposal development, SOWs, and demos in partnership with sales and consulting teams. • Lead technical workshops, solution deep dives, and proof-of-value (POV) pilots to validate architecture feasibility and client alignment. • Lead modernization & migration of legacy platforms (e.g., Teradata, Oracle, Hadoop) to cloud-native solutions (Ex: Databricks and Snowflake). • Champion data sharing and clean room strategies to unlock value in partner and third-party data collaboration. • Stay ahead of evolving data and cloud technologies to advise clients with future-ready solutions. • Publish reference architectures, case studies, and internal playbooks. • Mentor rising architects and consultants across the organization to scale expertise and impact. Requirements • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • 15+ years of experience in data architecture, cloud modernization, and enterprise consulting . • Proven experience designing and deploying Databricks-based data platforms across AWS, GCP, or Azure , with working knowledge of Snowflake for analytics, sharing, and activation use cases. • Deep expertise in Spark, Delta Lake, Kafka, Airflow , and streaming data architectures. • Strong understanding of identity resolution , referential and private ID graph design , and data matching frameworks . • Experience collaborating with analytics teams on segmentation, model deployment, and audience activation across CDPs and adtech/martech ecosystems. • Background in data governance, privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) , and PII-safe sharing methods. • Demonstrated success modernizing legacy data environments (Teradata, Oracle, Hadoop) into Databricks or Snowflake lakehouse architectures . • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical architecture into business impact. • Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise solutioning engagements and gain cross-functional alignment. • Experience with security and compliance controls on Data: encryption, auditing, access controls. • Familiarity with cost optimization and performance tuning best practices in cloud environments.
