Coastal Charm Co. is a concept store in Palmas del Mar known for its curated selection of local brands, gifts, and lifestyle pieces inspired by coastal living.

We’re seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support store operations during the summer months. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers find the perfect detail to take home, is attentive to detail, and appreciates jewelry, accessories, and beachside aesthetics as much as we do.

As a Sales Associate, you’ll do more than assist customers, you’ll play a key role in creating a memorable shopping experience while managing the store independently.

What You’ll Do

  • Open and close the store independently (key holder responsibilities)
  • Operate the POS system, maintain a balanced cash register and handle transactions efficiently
  • Provide a warm, attentive, and elevated customer experience
  • Keep the store immaculate, organized, and well-stocked
  • Restock merchandise and monitor inventory levels
  • Capture simple, engaging content for social media (photos/videos for social media) when needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision (you will be in the store alone at all times)
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of ownership
  • Interest in jewelry, clothing, accessories, fragrances, and ceramics
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English preferred)
  • Punctual with strong time management skills
  • Upbeat personality with a genuine interest in helping customers

Preferred (not required):

  • Experience with Clover POS or similar POS systems
  • Prior retail experience
  • Familiarity with social media or content creation

Availability Requirements

  • Must be available to work any day of the week (Monday–Sunday) as scheduled
  • Must be available for the full duration: May 10 – August 2
  • Availability during peak periods, including 4th of July week, is required

Typical store hours:

  • Monday–Thursday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Friday–Saturday: 11:30 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Occasional Summer Sundays

This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in retail operations, customer service, and brand presence in a beachside community. You’ll take ownership of the space and contribute directly to the store’s day-to-day success.
