[Remote] SURE/ Principal - SAP Utilities Project Manager

Infosys is a next-generation consulting partner that bridges strategy and execution, and they are seeking an experienced Principal-level SAP Program Manager to lead large-scale SAP transformation programs for Utility industry clients. This role involves end-to-end program delivery, executive stakeholder management, and ensuring successful business outcomes across complex SAP initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as overall Program Lead for large SAP transformation engagements, owning scope, schedule, budget, risks, quality, and outcomes
  • Lead executive client engagement, including Steering Committees, governance forums, and C-level communications
  • Establish and run robust program governance, integrated planning, RAID management, and executive reporting aligned with Infosys Consulting standards
  • Lead complex SAP S/4HANA transformation programs, coordinating multiple functional, technical, data, testing, cutover, and change workstreams
  • Partner with utility business and IT leaders to align SAP transformation outcomes with regulatory, reliability, safety, and customer service objectives
  • Proactively manage dependencies across SAP and non-SAP systems in highly complex utility landscapes
  • Own program financials, including forecasting, change control, and margin protection
  • Lead multi-vendor and system integrator governance, ensuring delivery accountability and client satisfaction
  • Ensure business readiness, change adoption, successful go-live execution, and post–go-live stabilization

Skills

  • 10+ years of experience leading large enterprise programs, with significant ownership of SAP or ERP-led transformations
  • Proven experience in a client-facing consulting role, operating as a trusted advisor to senior executives
  • Strong background leading SAP programs, preferably including SAP S/4HANA transformations
  • Prior experience delivering programs for Utility industry clients (Electric, Gas, or Water)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-workstream, multi-vendor programs
  • Excellent executive communication, leadership presence, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel 50 to 75% based on client needs
  • Direct leadership of large SAP S/4HANA transformation programs
  • Experience with regulated or asset-intensive industries
  • Program management certifications (PMP, SAFe, PRINCE2)
  • Experience working with global delivery and offshore/onshore models
