Job Summary

Tim Hortons is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Remote IT Asset Manager – ServiceNow & Global Portfolio to oversee and optimize the organizations global IT asset lifecycle. This role is responsible for managing hardware, software, and cloud assets using ServiceNow, ensuring compliance, cost efficiency, and alignment with global IT governance standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate across regions in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, optimization, and retirement.

  • Administer and optimize IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes within ServiceNow, including HAM, SAM, and CMDB integrations.

  • Maintain accurate asset records, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal policies and external audits.

  • Lead global IT asset portfolio reporting, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives.

  • Collaborate with IT, procurement, finance, security, and vendor partners across multiple regions.

  • Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and vendor contracts.

  • Develop and enforce IT asset management standards, policies, and best practices globally.

  • Support audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Provide insights and dashboards to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) modules.

  • Solid understanding of hardware, software, and cloud asset lifecycle management.

  • Experience with global IT portfolio management and governance frameworks.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across cultures and time zones.

  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and asset optimization techniques.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.

Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Asset Management or IT Service Management.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITAM in a global enterprise environment.

  • Experience working with large-scale, multi-region IT portfolios is highly preferred.

Working Hours

  • Full-time, remote position.
