Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is seeking a proactive, customer-focused Remote Customer Onboarding Specialist to join our dynamic tech services team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding new clients through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition and optimal experience with our technology solutions. As the first point of contact for new users, your role is critical in shaping the customer journey, building trust, and driving long-term satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for new customers during the onboarding phase.

  • Understand client requirements and tailor onboarding processes accordingly.

  • Deliver virtual training sessions, walkthroughs, and demos for clients.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Product, Support) to ensure client success.

  • Set up accounts, configure tools, and provide clear product documentation.

  • Track onboarding progress and maintain accurate records in CRM systems.

  • Identify potential issues early and provide proactive solutions.

  • Collect and relay customer feedback to continuously improve the onboarding process.

  • Monitor key success metrics and report onboarding performance to management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Communications, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with remote tools and platforms (Zoom, Google Workspace, CRMs, etc.).

  • Ability to manage multiple onboarding projects simultaneously.

  • High emotional intelligence and a customer-first mindset.

  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and process-driven.

  • Ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in customer success, onboarding, or support within a tech or SaaS environment.

Working Hours

  • Flexible remote schedule with core availability required between 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (adjusted to client time zones if needed).

  • Weekend work is not typically required but may be needed during high-volume onboarding periods.

  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).

  • Knowledge of onboarding best practices in tech/SaaS environments.
