Recruitment Consultant - Remote

Read our blog to learn more. We’re looking for a generalist Recruiter to hire exceptional talent across Duolingo’s non-technical functions.

You’ll run full‑cycle searches, partnering closely with hiring managers to define profiles, build strong pipelines, and deliver a white‑glove candidate experience. You’ll balance speed and quality, use data to inform decisions, and help maintain Duolingo’s high talent bar. Own full‑cycle recruiting (intake, sourcing, assessments, offers) and drive efficient, high‑quality hiring outcomes for various roles in our non-technical functions, with potential to work on some technical roles.

Partner with hiring managers to align on role requirements, interview plans, and timelines; help set clear expectations and keep searches on track. Support intake meetings and recruiting syncs by sharing updates, surfacing insights, and recommending next steps.

Execute recruiting operations: manage timelines, track progress, and proactively communicate status updates and risks, complying with standardized processes and usage of tools Deliver an excellent candidate experience with timely communication, structured assessments, and clear feedback loops from first touch to close.

Use data to inform your work: monitor funnel health, identify trends, and suggest improvements to your searches. 3+ years of full‑cycle recruiting experience for multiple non-technical functions (e.g. you build trust and keep hiring partners aligned. ~ Experience using recruiting data (e.g., pipeline metrics, conversion rates) to inform your approach. ~ Comfortable ideating, building, and experimenting with AI tools, like ChatGPT. ~ ChatGPT) to support recruiting workflows. ~ Experience with ATS/CRM tools like Gem, Brighthire, Guide, and Greenhouse. ~ Ability to work from or relocate to Pittsburgh, PA or New York, NY.

Experience recruiting across multiple functions, both non-technical and technical. Deep knowledge of the current hiring landscape, including current trends and platforms.
