Recording Specialist

Overview Job Purpose The Recording Specialist role will execute recording service duties on behalf of our customers either at our customer office location or at one of our centralized hub locations. The role will be responsible for completing data in the Simplifile system, completing quality checks for submissions to counites, remediating any identified issues, delivering packages to be filed at county recorder, and delivering packages to our hub locations (as necessary).

Responsibilities

  • Process all eRecording transactions in Simplifile system for each day
  • Perform quality checks on submissions and remediate any identified issues
  • Review paper submissions
  • Record timely and accurately incoming services
  • Prepare packages for delivery to hub locations (as necessary)
  • Performs other duties or projects as assigned
Knowledge And Experience
  • 2+ years of experience working with electronic mortgage filing preferred (Simplifile).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks, working effectively with little or no direction.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily deadlines.
  • Client service excellence, with a focus on being helpful, reliable, responsive, proactive, friendly, and professional. Ability to methodically breakdown a process or issue by asking critical, thoughtful questions to identify best solution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and follow-up with advanced analytical skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and build relationship with peers, co-workers, and management personal from different countries and diverse background.
  • Excellent verbal, advanced listening, and meeting organization and facilitation skills.
Schedule The hours for this role will be 9:00 am to 6:00 pm PDT California Base Salary Range The expected base salary for this role, if located in California, is between $46,000 – $48,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation.

While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
