<h1>Performance Test Engineer II</h1><p style="min-height:1.5em">As a Performance Test Engineer II you’ll be entrusted to design, execute, and improve performance and scalability testing for mission-critical federal technology programs. You will collaborate with engineering, DevSecOps, and product teams to validate reliability, scalability, and operational readiness across modern application environments.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2>What You’ll Do:</h2><p style="min-height:1.5em">· Design and execute performance testing strategies including load, stress, endurance, and spike testing.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">· Develop and maintain performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, k6, or Gatling.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">· Define workload models, baselines, and service-level objectives aligned to release criteria.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">· Analyze logs, metrics, and observability data to identify performance bottlenecks across applications, databases, and infrastructure.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">· Integrate automated performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and quality gate processes.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">· Support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and remediation planning for identified performance issues.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2>What You’ll Need:</h2><p style="min-height:1.5em">· 3+ years of experience in performance testing, software engineering, or application support with performance engineering responsibilities.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">· Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, k6, or Gatling.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">· Working knowledge of REST APIs, web application architectures, and performance metrics analysis.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">· Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2>How We’ll Support You:</h2><p style="min-height:1.5em">Keeping people satisfied is no small undertaking.
