Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Online Content Moderator to ensure the safety, relevance, and quality of user-generated content across Nigerian online forums. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about maintaining community guidelines, monitoring online behavior, and promoting respectful digital discussions. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor user-generated content across forums, message boards, and discussion threads to ensure adherence to community standards and policies.

  • Identify, report, and remove inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content in a timely manner.

  • Respond to user-reported content violations and resolve issues professionally and promptly.

  • Provide regular feedback to forum admins and management regarding trends, user concerns, and potential improvements.

  • Collaborate with other moderators to ensure consistent and fair enforcement of content guidelines.

  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging digital environment for Nigerian online forum users.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent command of English and at least one Nigerian language (e.g., Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa) is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of online culture, social behavior, and community dynamics.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to assess content quickly and fairly.

  • Ability to remain objective and calm in high-pressure moderation scenarios.

  • Familiarity with social media platforms, community management tools, or forum software is a plus.

Experience

Working Hours
