Network Operations Center Specialist

<p><b>What’s the role</b></p><p>Shell Recharge Solutions is seeking a Network Operations Center (NOC) Specialist to join our team. The NOC Specialist will focus on ensuring high station uptime through remote troubleshooting and managing vendor relationships for commissioning and maintenance of our charging network.</p><p>This role involves managing our network of electric vehicle charging stations and the contractor network responsible for servicing and installing them. Key responsibilities include:</p><ol><li>Monitoring charging station performance proactively using various issue detection methods (hardware reports, customer reports, analytical flags)</li><li>Conducting root cause analysis to address reported issues, and dispatching or delegating work orders to engineering support or third-party contractors as appropriate</li><li>Onboarding and managing third-party contractors for our expanding network</li><li>Forecasting, creating purchase orders, and managing contractor invoices and approvals upon work completion</li><li>Updating work order statuses, communicating progress to stakeholders, and reporting metrics internally</li><li>Scheduling and guiding technicians and contractors during the field commissioning of new stations</li><li>Maintaining relationships with account managers, site hosts, and other stakeholders</li></ol><p><b>What you bring</b></p><ul><li>Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis</li><li>Bachelor’s Degree is a plus</li><li>Minimum 5 years in technical roles with hardware/software knowledge, and over 3 years in leadership overseeing field operations or related activities</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office</li><li>Experience with high-volume service ticket management tools</li><li>Expertise in charge point management systems and Open Charge Point Protocol</li></ul><p>Preferred qualifications include a background in electrical construction or maintenance, knowledge of EV charging and electrical systems, and experience with Salesforce platform.</p><p>This is a virtual position based in the US.</p><p><b>What we offer</b></p><p>The salary range is $101,000 - $151,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
