Membership Director – Digital Marketing, Communications Boards

Job Description:

  • Research cutting-edge business issues to develop relevant discussion topics
  • Facilitate valuable dialogue among senior leaders
  • Lead, facilitate, and guide high-level discussions via group conference calls, 1-on-1 member connections, in-person Board Meetings, and Fast Feedback email conversations
  • Build deep professional and personal relationships with members
  • Guide conversations to be meaningful, relevant, and valuable
  • Help enforce confidentiality and membership qualification standards
  • Partner with Member Operations to provide outstanding service, infrastructure, and a supportive culture
  • Manage membership account health to secure annual renewals
  • Lead one Digital Marketing & Communications Board, either the Social Media Board or new AEO Board
  • Guide peer conversations on social media, AEO, SEO, AI search, and discoverability

Requirements:

  • Stellar written, in-person, on-stage, phone, and social media communication skills
  • Comfortable and natural group leader able to take charge of a room
  • Ability to quickly connect with executives personally and professionally
  • Experience moderating and facilitating peer-to-peer discussions for executives
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to work with sophisticated content, issues, policies, and ideas
  • Ability to identify compelling stories, important topics, and great conversations
  • Similar experience in content, policy, or issues work, or as a membership leader, community manager, moderator, or facilitator
  • Experience working directly with Fortune 1000 executives, including CXOs, VPs, or Directors, in a professional context
  • Ability to understand executive needs and engage and communicate effectively with them
  • Experience developing deep subject-matter expertise on complex business topics
  • Advanced degree preferred
