Practice Environment

  • Physician-led coverage model

  • Scribe coverage daily (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM)
No subspecialty backup onsite — providers must be comfortable managing patients independently and coordinating transfers when needed.

Clinical Scope

  • Broad-spectrum Emergency Medicine including:
    • Acute illness and injury
    • Stabilization and transfer when appropriate
    • Procedures within a community ED setting
    • Use of bridge orders for admissions and transfers
Candidate Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible:

  • ABEM / AOBEM or ABFM (with Emergency Medicine experience)
  • Active Mississippi license (or ability to obtain)
  • Minimum 4 shifts per month availability
  • Comfort practicing independently
