Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems across various property types. Your expertise will ensure optimal comfort, energy efficiency, and safety for our clients. Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ammonia refrigeration systems.
  • Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
  • Conduct field service visits to client sites to troubleshoot mechanical problems and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Repair and replace HVAC components such as compressors, fans, thermostats, valves, and electrical wiring using appropriate tools including ohmmeters and welding equipment.
  • Assist with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems and property maintenance projects as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and local building codes during all service activities.
  • Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs of all work performed for accountability and future reference.

Skills

  • Proven experience as an HVAC service technician or in a similar mechanical role with strong field service skills.
  • Knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems including refrigeration cycles and ammonia refrigeration processes.
  • Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design plans accurately.
  • Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems, boiler operation, appliance repair, welding techniques, and property maintenance.
  • Familiarity with construction practices relevant to HVAC system installation and repair projects.
  • Experience with equipment repair involving electrical components using tools like ohmmeters.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills combined with the ability to perform complex repairs on mechanical equipment efficiently.
