Responsibilities As a Google Cloud Engineer, you will play a vital role in our team, contributing to the development and implementation of CX solutions. Key responsibilities include: Collaborate in the lift and shift process of existing products into the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Deploy and manage GCP applications efficiently using command-line tools. Validate GCP software deployments and releases to ensure optimal performance. Craft and execute queries for making configuration changes to GCP applications. Leverage standard tools such as Jenkins and git for pre-staging software deployment. Utilize Unix commands to troubleshoot system and network behavior effectively. Requirements To excel in this role, you should possess: Excellent communication and client interaction skills. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the following areas: GCP networking and application model. Containerized applications, including Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Docker, and Terraform. MySQL or PostGres SQL databases. Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, C++, NodeJS, and Bash. Knowledge of the GNU Tool chain for building C++ Code. Experience with microservice-based architectures on Linux/Unix platforms. Google Cloud Certifications, such as Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
