Compassion Accountability Respect Excellence About the Role CURA looking to hire a service‑driven Freight Account Executive who will manage their loads for the full load lifecycle. You will be responsible for generating new business and will act as a liaison between our customers and freight carriers. In this role, you will collaborate with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers to manage scheduled pickups and deliveries. If you are new to sales/logistics but have a strong drive (a real go‑getter) to succeed, then this is the right opportunity for you. This is an in‑office role based in Tampa, FL. We are only considering candidates from the Tampa Bay area or those willing to relocate. Responsibilities Secure new accounts and ensure customer retention. Identify reputable carriers for freight services using company tools. Negotiate rates with carriers and provide customers with shipping quotes. Dispatch and track active loads (TL / Truckload / LTL) domestically. Communicate with dispatchers and drivers daily to track the status of loads and provide timely updates to customers. Identify potential issues and implement solutions. Enter load data in internal TMS system in real time as load progresses. Attract new prospects and develop a sales pipeline using the company CRM application. Work cross‑functionally to assist with customer billing and accounting responsibilities, as needed. Make 70+ prospecting calls/day. Qualifications Previous phone‑sales experience preferred. Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Ability to think outside the box, look for solutions, and creatively solve problems. Proactive self‑starter who thrives in an autonomous, fast‑paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Service‑minded and accountable with a customer‑centric approach. Attention to detail and ability to multi‑task.
