Freelance Wedding Event Planner – Virtual Client Handling

Job Summary:

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Freelance Wedding Event Planner to manage and coordinate virtual client consultations and event planning tasks. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive on creativity, meticulous organization, and client satisfaction—all from the comfort of their home. You will be responsible for transforming clients wedding visions into reality, managing all aspects remotely, including vendor coordination, theme planning, virtual meetings, and timely execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual consultations to understand client requirements, preferences, and budget.

  • Develop personalized wedding concepts, themes, and timelines tailored to each client.

  • Coordinate and communicate with vendors, venues, decorators, and other third-party service providers.

  • Provide ongoing updates to clients via email, video calls, and project management tools.

  • Prepare and present virtual mood boards, layouts, and budget reports.

  • Troubleshoot issues and propose creative solutions to meet client expectations.

  • Ensure timely delivery of all wedding components and manage virtual rehearsals if needed.

  • Maintain organized documentation of all planning stages, approvals, and expenses.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in event planning, preferably wedding-related (freelance or agency).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.

  • Comfortable using Zoom, Google Meet, Canva, Trello/Asana, and other planning tools.
