Deputy Director of Agriculture & Measurement Standards - Department Promotional

Appraisal can be based on any of the following: investigating, oral exam and/or review of application.<br style="color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1); font-style: normal; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0"><br style="color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1); font-style: normal; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0"><span style="color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1); font-style: normal; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0">Applicants must attain at least a 70% score on each phase of the examination process.</span><br><br><strong style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0">Examination components for promotional testing will be administered during scheduled date(s)/time(s)/location(s) without exception.</strong><br><br><div style="text-align: justify"><strong style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0">Minimum Qualifications / Employment Standards:</strong></div><div style="text-align: justify">A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four (4) year college or university that meets the minimum qualifications established by the California Secretary of Agriculture.<br><br><strong>AND </strong><br><br>Possession of valid County Deputy Agricultural Commissioner license OR County Deputy Sealer of Weights and Measures license.<br><br><strong>AND </strong><br><br>Three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience in the enforcement of agricultural and/or weights and measures laws and regulations.<br><br><strong>AND</strong><br><br>Possession of a valid Class C California driver's license is required.
