WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview): Participate in the development, implementation and monitoring of complex activities, processes, and systems to ensure regulatory compliance for assigned unit or area. Participate on projects and may serve as a subject matter expert for regulatory compliance. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers. Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State, and local regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advisory guidance on the Code of Business Ethics & Conduct, conflicts of interest and business gifts and entertainment issues.
  • Assist with execution of compliance risk assessments.
  • Assist with creation, modification and updating of policies and procedures.
  • Monitor OEC’s records management program.
  • Prepare periodic compliance reporting for management.
  • Provide training to corporate functions and business units on compliance topics.
  • Conduct internal investigations of fraud, waste, and abuse as well as alleged policy violation and Code of Business Ethics & Conduct issues.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor activities, processes, and systems to ensure compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree dependent on regulatory function (i.e., Med Tech, science, healthcare, management, accounting, business) or other related degree required.
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
  • Prior experience working as a compliance manager or in a similar position.
  • Outstanding analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills, orientation to deadlines, attention to detail and ability to respond under pressure.
  • Experience in ethics and compliance, risk management, or auditing.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exposure to curating, executing and monitoring compliance projects.
  • Combination of candidate’s education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description’s minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).
