Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Carpentry Apprentice to join our dynamic team as part of our Joinery and Construction Skill Development Program. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in a range of carpentry tasks, from structural framework to detailed joinery work, all under the guidance of seasoned professionals. Ideal for those looking to build a career in construction, this role combines practical site work with off-site training and mentorship, providing a solid foundation in carpentry and construction principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials.

  • Work alongside experienced carpenters to learn the trade through real-world applications.

  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and other machinery safely and efficiently.

  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to complete tasks accurately.

  • Participate in regular training sessions and skills development workshops.

  • Follow all health and safety regulations on-site and in the workshop.

  • Maintain tools and workspaces in a clean, organized condition.

  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to project completion within deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GCSEs or equivalent qualifications preferred).

  • A strong interest in construction, woodworking, and hands-on work.

  • Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.

  • Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials.

Experience
