Bentley Systems<br><br><strong>Location:</strong> Home-based, United States<br><br><strong>Position Summary<br><br></strong>As an Associate User Engagement Advocate focused on the SMB and e-commerce segment, you will own and grow relationships with a defined book of customers from the moment they join through every stage of their journey. Your work directly drives contract growth and renewal, and you will serve as the primary connection between our users and the value our products deliver.<br><br>This is a meaningful opportunity for someone who is energized by building trust with customers and turning those relationships into long-term business outcomes.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Customer Growth and Ownership</li><ul><li>Take direct accountability for the growth of your SMB customer portfolio</li><li>Identify expansion opportunities within the existing customer base</li><li>Guide users through the full post-purchase journey from initial adoption to expansion</li><li>Proactively surface new opportunities before customers think to ask</li><li>Serve as the consistent presence in the customer experience from onboarding forward</li></ul><li>Relationship Management</li><ul><li>Develop deep, substantive relationships with customers grounded in a genuine understanding of their goals and challenges</li><li>Lead structured onboarding sessions and maintain clear, timely follow-up communications</li><li>Consistently look for ways to add value beyond the immediate transaction</li></ul><li>Cross-Functional Collaboration</li><ul><li>Partner with Product, Sales, Success, and Marketing teams to ensure users receive a seamless, consistent experience across every touchpoint</li><li>Channel customer feedback to the Product team to inform solution development</li><li>Work with Marketing to build user advocacy within the customer base</li></ul><li>User Education and Enablement</li><ul><li>Apply product knowledge and communication skills to help users get the most out of what they have purchased</li><li>Stay current on product developments and industry trends</li><li>Bring relevant knowledge directly to customers in practical, accessible ways</li></ul><li>Position Details</li><ul><li>This is a full-time, individual contributor role expected to work 40 hours per week, hybrid based in our Exton, PA office.</li><li>This role requires communication with Managers, peers and other colleagues of the company in person, and/or by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.</li><li>No travel required.</li></ul></ul> <br><br><ul><li></li><ul><li>Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements). <br><br></li></ul></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Prior internship experience in any industry. (Software/IT will have preference.)</li><li>Strong communication skills no matter the medium you’re interacting with people in.
