Major areas of responsibility and jurisdiction include; pesticide use enforcement, plant quarantine, pest exclusion, pest detection, fruit and vegetable standardization, nursery, seed, and weights and measures enforcement.</p><br><p style="margin: 0.0in;"> An <strong>Agricultural Inspector/Biologist</strong> position is currently available within the Agricultural Commissioner's Office. Depending upon the specific assignment, this position performs a variety of agricultural inspections and enforces provisions of codes, regulations, and ordinances under the jurisdiction of the County Agricultural Commissioner. </p><p style="margin: 0.0in;"><br>This classification is part of a flexible series.
