Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports

  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense claims

  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures

  • Help manage accounts payable and receivable

  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking activities

  • Learn to use accounting software and tools efficiently

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve discrepancies

  • Maintain financial documentation and ensure compliance with company policies

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a background in Business or Math is advantageous

  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

  • Basic understanding of financial principles

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic working environment

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Experience

  • No prior professional experience required – this is an apprentice-level position

  • Any coursework, internship, or volunteer experience related to finance, accounting, or administration is a plus

Working Hours

  • Full-time: 37.5 hours per week

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

  • Hybrid options may be available after initial training period
